To our fans in South America:
As you probably have now heard, our shows in Rio de Janerio, Sao Paulo, and Buenos Aires have officially been cancelled for this week. We tried everything we could to make this happen. Many of the bands playing WROS Fest and the sideshows were my friends and we stayed in touch the past few weeks. In the end, some of us did not get the Visas in time — as the promoter has explained. This was no fault of our own, as we repeatedly tried to start this process weeks ago. I can assure you that the bands wanted to come. The festival is asking us to reschedule for December and we're looking into the logistics, but right now we are not sure we are available to make the new dates. No decision has been made, but we will figure out a way to get back down to Brazil and Argentina sooner than later. You mean a lot to us and we were really looking forward to the wild shows down there! We love you.
The promoter has accepted responsibility for this and is offering refunds to those who do not want to go to the postponed festival. Please visit www.wrosfest.br for more information. We will keep you updated on our end.
Again, to our fans, thanks for standing by us. We realize a lot of you have made plans to travel to see us. We will come back to South America soon.
